Our
August group meeting will be at ACCC Mangere and we have another great speaker.
Who
doesn’t like honey? I have half a teaspoon with my first cup of tea of the day.
We are so lucky to have beekeeper Denise Lutge coming to talk to us about how a
hobby has blossomed into something more. She will tell us how she keeps
healthy bees to give pure unadulterated honey. Denise will also bring
some of her honey, honeycomb, beeswax bags (especially to store mushrooms) to
sell to us at discounted prices (bring cash, no eftpos). 🐝🐝🐝
The
refreshment team is Jennifer Joe’s parrots - Bev, Daphne, Joana, Jenny Chin,
Betty.
